| Duties/Responsibilities: Position Summary: Telvent Houston has an opportunity for a motivated person to serve as Account Manager (AM). The role of the Account Manager is to perform product demonstrations and build long-term relationships with existing and prospective electric utility users in North America. The AM will promote the SAGE Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) hardware and accompanying services to electric utilities in the USA and Canada. The AM needs to be energetic, personable, and comfortable making presentations to a large audience. This position will require travel, primarily in the continental US and Canada. Travel will be 30-60% mostly Mon.-Fri. but occasionally weekend travel will be required. Some travel may be with relatively short notice. Telvent will provide training in the product line and account relationship building techniques. |

| Qualifications: Education & Experience Preferred: • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. • Experience with electronics and computer networking • Knowledge of and experience with electric utilities • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are required • Ability to travel (about 50% of the time) domestic & international • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (both oral and written) • Strong work ethic . |
